Scottish Widows Investment Partnership’s flagship office development in Edinburgh’s prime Exchange District had already been completed when Corran Properties were asked to undertake asset management services to enhance the letting and future disposal prospects for the scheme.

Exchange Place comprises three independent Grade A office buildings over a common podium and underground car park, extending to over 210,000 sq ft. At the time of our appointment the project was approximately 40% let and our primary function was to ensure that all technical diligence was comprehensively packaged to ease the process of letting the remaining accommodation. We became the first point of contact for existing and new tenants and worked to resolve a number of pre-existing challenges.

As a consequence of this process of active asset and tenant management the buildings become 100% let and a sale was completed in 2017.
